Hi,
Is there any method to obtain the size of the expected output from a given MP3 file? Even an estimate would be better than nothing. I need to know the size in order to display a progress bar, and also performance will improve considerably if I can allocate the destination array in advance instead of repeatedly growing it.
I'm using libmad in Windows XP/Vista/7 with Visual Studio versions 6.0 and 9.0.
