[mad-user] Help installing

Hi everyone,

I need some help. One of my packages requires a libmad.so.0 file. When I
installed one of the packages (and the source the second time), a
libmad.so.0 file was not created. Can anyone help?

when you build libmad and did 'make install', where was it installed?
(eg. what's the output of 'make install')

did you run ldconfig? is the install directory in /etc/ld.so.conf?

what error is the other package giving, and where (eg. in ./configure,
or at runtime)?
