[mad-user] MAD and streaming OGG

Hi, I was trying the new OGG streams for BBC1 in winamp 2.78 (
http://support.bbc.co.uk/ogg/ ) and noticed that if MAD is enabled they
won't work. I'm not saying it's a MAD problem especially considering the
early stage of the vorbis plugins and especially the streaming support. I
thought I'd mention it here though since I see no reason why the 2 plugins
should interact (and clash).
I have the latest versions for both plugins.

that's not new.

For some reason, MAD for winamp has never worked with streaming anything.

Usually, I forget to disable it when I want to listen to some streaming
mp3....

Too bad MAD can't just "pass" it on to another plugin if it doesn't support
it.

well this is a different problem though, since I'm not talking about an
mp3 stream, MAD --as far as I know-- doesn't decode OGG files so I
really don't see the reason why it should interact with the Nullsoft
in_vorbis plugin.

yeah...I know...MAD doesn't like streaming ANYTHING.
