Hi there,

I have successfully (I think) installed libmad-015.1b and
libid3tag-0.15.1b. But when I try to install configure exits with an
error:

id3tag.h was not found
you must first install libid3tag before you can build this package

I'm confused. Any help would be appreciated. I'm running CentOS 5

thanks

Hi William,

I'm not familiar with RPM systems since I'm a Debian guy, but maybe
you can use yum or locate/find to make sure that:

1. libid3tag.h exists somewhere on your system
2. it's in the right directory

However I don't understand what is "install configure". Did you try
to install libid3tag with "configure and then make" and it failed?
Then why you said you have installed libid3tag successfully? Did you
just download the source?

Sorry, left a comma out of that sentence: should be "when I try to
install, configure exits with an error:" (referring to installing
madplay)

Looks like I got it sorted out. Thanks for your response.
